COVID in Jamaica, A Crisis of our own Making

Image
Over the past couple days, I have watching various members of the Government and public expressing shock and dismay at how indiscipline Jamaicans are but I am shocked that they are shocked. It must have been pretend shock because they cannot be that delusional and disconnected, living in their ivory towers. During the pandemic Jamaicans sit at home and watched the advance healthcare systems of some of the world’s most advance countries buckle under the pressures of the COVID pandemic. With eyes open wide, Jamaicans continue to act like idiots throwing caution to the wind and ignoring the danger facing them. Compared to the healthcare systems of first world countries, Jamaica’s healthcare system is backwards. Jamaica's healthcare system is not fit for purpose even in normal times, much less during a global pandemic. But we act as if we are above it all, immune to COVID, listening to an idiot like Buju, that fake ass rasta declaring: " Who fi dead ago dead and who nah go dead ha...

Lack of Social Engineering in Jamaica

I agree that parents are responsible for the development of their offspring's. I agree that parents should guide and protect their offspring. I agree that parents should make sure their offspring's are properly socialized, understanding their roles within society. I agree that parents should teach their children manners, morals and proper problem/solution skills. Making sure they know that violence is not the solution to every problem. In the real world, I think we overuse the word parents and apply the word to people who should be parents,  but they are not parents  because they were never educated to be parents and as such, t...

Dutty-Dancehall Must Die!

Image
Music is the rod and we are Moses Leading God's children to the Promised Land Music is the voice of his brother Aaron, yes Preaching and comforting at the Father's command We have the power to turn things around It's for us to stand up when we fall to the ground I say this with a smile, pause for a while, Lord Listen my son, the prophets have come Disgusting, Dysfunctional, Violent and Immoral Dirty-Dancehall must die. We must do all that is in our power to exterminate this vile and evil sub-culture from our society. A person on Facebook posted a dance hall video and in that video a young woman was thrown on a table. She spread her legs and then the man took out a bottle of hot pepper sauce and began to pour it between her legs to cheers, excitement and merriment of a crowd of on-lookers, including children. This is the type of behavior that we are now reduced to, where hot sauce poured between a woman’s legs is entertainment. I responded that this was the most disgusti...
