Africa Must Unite and the Black Diaspora Must Unite around Africa!

Image
The Size, Wealth and Importance of Africa! Aid from Western First World Countries was never designing to lift developing countries out of poverty. It was design to maintain dependency poverty and suffering. Aid from Western First World countries was designed to keep developing countries on the hook of dependency. Western media goes on and on about how much aid they are giving but ignoring how much wealth resources they were extracting. Africa is victim of the White Western World Order but a lot of the wounds Africa is receiving is also self-inflicted. The future of Africa is in Africa’s hands. Africa must learn from its own history and not repeat its colonial past. It must understand that the ball is in its court, it is holding all the cards. Africa owns most of the worlds resources that the rest of the world needs and as such controls the position of power. But if Africa is not progressively united then Africa will fail. Trade and investment agreements must Benefit Africa, if not, the...

The Forested Garden: What is a Food Forest?

Image
The Two Categories of the Tree Layer in a Food Forest  The understory – Smaller trees and larger shrubs such as apples, plums, cherries, peas, Cacao, Coffee etc.  The canopy layer – Taller trees that rise above the understory like Mango, breadfruit, ackee, tamarind, coconut etc.   Please note is not trying to get rid of water from the property but trying his very best to control and retain water. Yes the excess will have to go eventually but water should always be on the property.   How do we deal with mosquitoes with so much standing water? Mosquitoes do breed in water, but the larvae have to wriggle up and down to get air at the surface. That makes them perfect fish food. They won’t survive where fish is in water. The ideal spot for mosquitoes is too small for fish, something more like a muddy hoof print or little saucers under plant pots. Deal with those small bodies of water and the mosquito population will be greatly reduced. You can also design in o...

Jamaicans Dumber than a bag of Rocks? 65% with No Examination Passes

Image
65% Of Jamaicans Aged 25-54 Have No Examination Passes at Secondary Level NO NATION BUIDING CAN TAKE PLACE WITH THIS! Dumber than a bag of Rocks. I am told I am too harsh but there is really no way to sugarcoat this dysfunctional turn of events. There was a time when we pride ourselves on academic achievements making up for lost times during slavery and colonization, when we were denied education.  In the 1970s Jamaica made a big push to educate as much of our citizens as possible because no nation building can take place without an educated population. Back then the increased earnings from the Bauxite Levy which boasted Jamaica's earnings from US$23 Million to US$195 Million, allowed Jamaica to implement a system of free education and free adult education (JAMAL). Education was free for both secondary schools and university education.  2018-2019 The Government also implemented, free uniform for primary school children and a nutrition programme to provide free lunches for stud...

A friend of mine in Brooklyn, NY installed an application on his phone called a "Citizen App". This application sends out notifications about what is happening in his zip code. He said after installing it, he now has a better understand of how constant bombardment of  negative news can affect ones perception. The application was installed at 9:00 am and by 12:00 noon, there were 2 car crashes, 6 murders, a bank robbery and 2 women fighting on 8th Ave. Reports of shot fired. A report of a person with a gun and one person struck by jeep, more shots fired, Man shot on E 18th and Church Ave and building on fire, Man and woman shot.  Ignorance is Bliss , because he was very comfortable and felt secure in his zip code before he got the Citizen App but now he was not so sure.   In Jamaica, we prioritize reporting bad negative news, we are addicted to it and love to circulate it. In Jamaica bad news comes fast, furious, and gruesome then goes viral on social media. If anyt...

Facebook Jail - Racist People and Racist Algorithms

Image
I was once put in Facebook Jail for declaring that "Tourist are like warts on the backside of humanity". Because I was sick of being harassed by them, asking me for drugs while I try to relax in my own country.  The Times and The Sunday Times published an article where  “The American civil rights leader Rev Jesse Jackson has rejected the findings of the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities, saying that the British Empire’s role in the slave trade meant the country “owns racism and people know it”?   As a result every delusional British person crawled out from under their rocks to denounced Rev Jesse Jackson and declare Britain as not racist, never was and he should go fix racism in his own country.  I responded within context of the article with the following: As a result of me responding, I can only assume that several delusional British citizens took exception to my statement and reported it to the Sheriff of Facebook, who informed me of the following: I was p...

Ode To Jamaican Mango, Mi nuh drink kaffee tea Mango Time

Sometimes I read certain things that brings back flashes of my childhood and a smile on my face. Growing up we had a very tall and very big Blackie mango tree in my backyard. About half the tree grew over the back of the house and when mango season is in fill swing, all you can see on this tree is ripe mangoes. The trees position over the house acted like a mango alarm system for us kids and no matter where we were, or what you were doing, our mango radar was fine-tuned and set to maximum, allowing us to detect fallen mangoes. The first warning you get was the sound of the detached falling mango clearing the leaves of the tree. Followed by a solid buff, as the mango contacted the roof. After which the tumbling sound of the mango rolling off the roof and finally another solid buff, as the mango hits the ground, "The Eagle has landed". If you do not have a keen sense of hearing or you were not fast enough or tall enough then you were out of luck. Luckily for me I could climb a...
