On one hand I LOVE THIS! I love these off the beaten path discoveries, tucked away in the middle of nowhere. BUT on the other hand, I do not like it because I fear for the survivability and sustainability of the places being discovered. Once human being discovers something, then we can immediately put it on the endangered list. Because it is not if we will destroy it but when.  This isolated slice of nature will become a target for human destruction. BUT I DO LOVE THIS, nature in all its wonderful, natural sustainable glory. I just want to live isolated in the middle of all that and be one with it. My aim and purpose in life is to isolate myself from the mainstream, limit human contact living on a sustainable homestead.












If I could visually show you my heart, soul, and mind, then this is what you would see. Every fiber of my being belongs to this spot.

There are lots of things going on in this picture, that brings back so many memories of primary and high school in Jamaica. Here you have the sharer, the owner of the sky juice generously sharing his drink with the Sharee, aka the beggar-drinker. The Sharee the one the sky juice is being shared with, is not allowed to touch the sky juice in anyway. In fact, his hands should be by his side and if that was me, I would stop sharing my sky juice until he follows the rules by lowering his right arm and keep it by his side. The British Cornish Pasty vs. The Jamaican Beef Patty

I love my Jamaican Beef Patty and I do love the English Cornish Pasty. I am not sure which one came first or if they are even related but the concepts are the same. Take a delicious baked crust and fill it with tasty meaty goodness. In the case of a Cornish Pasty that tasty goodness is chunks of Genuine beef cooked with potatoes and swedes (turnips) and for an Authentic Jamaican Beef Patty,  the finest Genuine Jamaican beef. Maybe the English Cornish Pasty is related more to the Jamaican Meat Loaf than the Jamaican Beef Patty. What does a Cornish Pasty and a Jamaican Beef Patty Have in common? The British Government decided to impose a 20% VAT (Value Added Tax) on hot Cornish pasties. This resulted in a nation wide protest lead by the people of Cornwall against the proposed tax.
